We are a third-generation Gippsland horticulture business led by father and daughter team Arch and Leree Van Berkel.
Our family’s connection to horticulture spans decades and continues to shape how the nursery operates today. Knowledge has been built through hands-on experience and refined over time, creating a practical and informed approach to growing advanced trees.
We specialise in stock that is grown and advanced on-site over several years to ensure quality, structure and consistency. Our work supports landscape professionals and trade clients who value dependable supply and clear communication.
What sets us apart?
We focus on growing trees that perform in the landscape, not simply at the point of sale.
Species are selected for their reliability and suitability to the environments they are most often planted into, particularly across Melbourne, Victoria and interstate. Our range includes natives, citrus, magnolias and ornamental feature trees that bring structure and presence to a space.
Generational horticultural knowledge is supported by organised systems and steady expansion, allowing us to maintain consistent standards while continuing to grow the nursery thoughtfully.
Where we grow
Our primary growing site is located in Riverslea within the Macalister Irrigation District, with additional growing capacity in Traralgon.
From these Gippsland sites we supply advanced trees across Gippsland, Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate projects. Growing locally allows our trees to adapt naturally to the climate many of them will ultimately be planted into.
This understanding of place informs both our growing methods and plant selection.
